    Cpython

    CVE-2025-11468 and 6 more

Affects you if you use Cpython and generate email headers from user input without sanitizing them.

The source summarizes multiple vulnerabilities. One of them concerns the folding of long comments in email headers: if a comment contains only characters that cannot be broken, parentheses are not preserved. This allows header injection when addresses are user-controlled and not sanitized.

The source does not provide further details for this vulnerability. It does not say whether authentication is required, and it does not explicitly assign the condition of an authenticated attacker to this CVE.

The source does not name a fixed version or a workaround.

    Froxlor

    CVE-2026-54347 and 5 more

Affects you if your host uses Froxlor. You may be affected even when the hosting provider installed and manages the administration panel.

The BSI notice combines 6 vulnerabilities. It names cross-site scripting, SQL injection, bypassing security measures, data manipulation, and disclosure of confidential information as possible effects. I rate the notice high for that reason.

The source does not say which component is affected by which vulnerability. It also says that further attacks may be enabled. The issue is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog as actively exploited.

Update Froxlor to 2.3.8. The source does not name a workaround.

    Python

    CVE-2026-82049

Affects you if you use CPython 3.13 or earlier and your application uses the tarfile module to process crafted archive files.

In CPython 3.13 and earlier, the tarfile module's data and tar extraction filters are vulnerable to crafted archives containing a hard link to a symbolic link. Such archives may cause the permissions or modification time of a file outside the destination directory to be changed, or expose that file's contents within the extracted tree.

A remote, anonymous attacker can exploit the vulnerability to manipulate or disclose data, according to the BSI. The BSI rates it medium. The vulnerability is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog as actively exploited.

The source does not name a fixed version or a workaround.

    cPanel cPanel/WHM

    CVE-2026-13713 and 3 more

Affects you if your hosting provider uses cPanel cPanel/WHM. As a webspace customer, you cannot change the layer underneath it yourself.

I classify this as a bundle of 4 vulnerabilities. The BSI text names possible arbitrary code execution, disclosure of confidential information, bypassing security measures, data manipulation, and a denial of service condition. The source does not assign these effects to any individual vulnerability.

One source description also names a vulnerability in YAML::Syck that can crash the interpreter. The bundle does not provide details about how that description maps to cPanel or to the other vulnerabilities. It is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog.

The source does not name a fixed version or a workaround.

    Contest Gallery

    CVE-2026-78088

Affects you if you use Contest Gallery through 32.0.1 and the source describes file overwrites by authenticated attackers with subscriber level access.

The source describes insufficient file path validation in the “baseUrlForFacebook” parameter. The source title says unauthenticated upload, while the source text describes file overwrites by authenticated attackers with subscriber level access or higher. I am keeping that discrepancy instead of smoothing it over.

According to the source, known files can be overwritten. Under certain preconditions, this may lead to remote code execution. The vulnerability is not listed in CISA’s KEV catalog.

Update Contest Gallery to 33.0.0; the source does not name a workaround.

    WPLP Cookie Consent

    CVE-2026-85130

Affects you if you use WPLP Cookie Consent before 4.4.4 in a multisite installation.

I classify this as stored cross site scripting. The source names insufficient input sanitization and output escaping as the cause. Unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute when a user later accesses an injected page.

The source also names arbitrary JavaScript running in an administrator's session when the administrator interacts with the logged entry. The vulnerability is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog of actively exploited vulnerabilities.

    PuppyFW

    CVE-2026-88904

Affects you if you run PuppyFW through 0.4.4 and authenticated users with subscriber-level access can reach it.

PuppyFW checks authorization on one REST route against a value taken from the request. As a result, authenticated users, including subscribers, can add, modify, and delete arbitrary blog options and elevate their privileges.

I classify this as privilege escalation. It is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog as an actively exploited vulnerability.

The source does not name a fixed version or a workaround.

Choose User Role at Registration for WooCommerce

    CVE-2026-85128

Affects you if you use Choose User Role at Registration for WooCommerce through 1.3.2 with role selection and public account registration enabled.

The plugin does not sufficiently validate the role requested during registration against the roles the administrator chose to offer. Unauthenticated attackers can therefore request any role, including administrator, and receive it once the request is approved.

The source describes privilege escalation caused by insufficient restrictions on the capabilities a user may grant themselves. I consider this relevant even though it is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog of actively exploited vulnerabilities.

    MotoPress Hotel Booking

    CVE-2026-90650

Affects you if you use MotoPress Hotel Booking through 6.2.4 with the premium Stripe gateway integration in the plugin.

I classify this as stored cross-site scripting. Unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts through the Stripe webhook event object's "id" value into pages where they execute when accessed.

The source describes insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. A forged webhook can be accepted without cryptographic verification when no optional Stripe signing secret is configured. The manipulated value is written to the payment log and later echoed without sanitization when an administrator views the payment. The attacker must know a valid Stripe PaymentIntent ID for an existing payment.

Update to 6.3.0. The source does not name a workaround.

    WP-Lister Lite for eBay

    CVE-2026-18595

Affects you if you run WP-Lister Lite for eBay through 3.8.9 and unauthenticated attackers can inject web scripts into pages.

The source describes stored cross-site scripting caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, where they execute when a user accesses an injected page.

I rate this as relevant because no login is required. The vulnerability is not listed in CISA's KEV catalog as actively exploited.

  • 18 advisoriesEine Programmiersprache samt Laufzeit, etwa Go oder Erlang.
  • CVE-2022-30789Linux-Kernel, lokale Rechteausweitung in NTFS-3G.

  • CVE-2026-15308CPython, Denial of Service im HTML-Parser.
