Remote support · for our clients
When something is stuck, we can be on your screen within minutes: no travel, no waiting and no third-party cloud in between. We use RustDesk on our own server in Germany. Download the client, start it, tell us your ID, done.
You are on a phone or tablet right now. Please open this page on the computer we are supposed to help with.
Only our own server sits between your device and the technician. It passes the data on in encrypted form only and cannot read the content of your session.
All clients are preconfigured for our server. You do not need to set anything up or create an account.

Check the checksum yourself: on Windows in PowerShell with Get-FileHash .\intelligentpixel-remote-windows-x64.msi, on a Mac in Terminal with shasum -a 256 intelligentpixel-remote-macos-apple-silicon.dmg. If the value does not match exactly, please do not install the file and get in touch with us.
A session always starts with you. Without your ID and your current password, nobody gets onto your computer.
Download the client for your system above. It is already set up for our server.
Windows: run the installer. Mac: drag the app into Applications and open it. macOS asks once for Screen Recording and Accessibility, please allow both.
The client shows your ID and a password. Give both to your contact at intelligent piXel, by phone or via Telegram.
You approve the connection and see every step live. Close the window and the session ends immediately.
RustDesk is open-source remote support software, written in the Rust programming language. It does the same job as TeamViewer or AnyDesk: a technician sees your screen and, if you allow it, can take over mouse and keyboard.
The difference is who the connection runs through. With the well-known vendors, their cloud brokers every session and you have to trust that vendor. We run the rendezvous and relay server ourselves, on our own infrastructure in Germany. Our clients know only this one server.
So your session never touches a third-party cloud. Because the source code is public, anyone can check what the software does. There is no black box you simply have to believe in.
The session is encrypted between your device and the technician. Even our own server only sees unreadable data.
No third party brokers, logs or stores your session. We run the technology in between ourselves.
Every connection needs your consent. You see everything and can end the session at any time with one click.
The source code is public and reviewed by a large community. What the software does can be checked at any time.
We never call out of the blue and ask for remote access. Only share your ID and password if you requested help from us yourself and know who you are talking to. When in doubt, hang up and contact us through the usual channels.
Out of the box, the official client connects to the project's public servers. Our build is preconfigured with our own server and its key. You do not have to enter anything, and the connection runs over our infrastructure from the very first second.
No. A connection needs your ID and your current password, and you see every session. We only set up permanent unattended access if you explicitly ask for it, for example for servers we manage for you.
Yes. To see your screen and move the mouse, the client needs the Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions on macOS. You will find both in System Settings under Privacy & Security. You can revoke them again at any time after the session.
Open the Apple menu at the top left and choose “About This Mac”. If it says “Chip: Apple M…”, take the client for Mac with M chip. If it says “Processor: … Intel …”, take the client for Mac with Intel.
No. After the session you can remove it like any other program. For future appointments it is more convenient to keep it, though.
We process session data solely to provide the support you requested, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Details are in our privacy policy.
Drop us a short note on what it is about. We will get back to you and start the session together with you.
